Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Committee will release its notification for IBPS SO 2019 in the month of October 2019. IBPS conducts Common Written Examination for the Specialist Officer’s for the multiple positions i.e. IT Officers (Scale I), Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale II), Agricultural Field Officers (Scale I), HR/ Personal Officers (Scale I), Law Officers (Scale I) and Marketing Officers (Scale I) in different Public Sector Banks all over the India.

IBPS SO Exam 2019 Vacancy

In 2018, IBPS declared around 1590+ vacancies for the post of IBPS SO 2018. Therefore, this year also, it is expecting to release the same number of vacancies for different Specialist Officer’s position.  

To get the idea of upcoming IBPS SO 2019 Vacancy, you should have a look on the post wise vacancies for IBPS SO 2018-19. Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Committee released the 853 vacancies in Agricultural Officer (Scale I), 302 for Marketing Officer (Scale I), 219 for IT Officer of Scale I, 75 positions for Law Officer (Scale I), 81 for the post of HR/ Personnel Officer (Scale I) and for Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I)  69 vacancies were there.

IBPS PO Interview Process 2019:

Candidates who qualify or cleared the Mains exam will be finally called for the Interview Process by IBPS. Final Selection of the candidate is based on the Interview process and the performance in the final round of IBPS Recruitment Process.

The Salary details for various posts of IBPS SO are given below:

Eligibility Criteria for Specialist Officer Recruitment 2019

One must check or go through the eligibility criteria for the post of IBPS SO before applying online for exams. The IBPS SO eligibility criteria are different for recruiting candidates to different positions.

There are 3 parameters on which candidate must fulfill the conditions to apply before IBPS SO 2019:

  1. Citizenship
  2. Age Limit
  3. Educational Qualification

The Citizenship Criteria for the candidate to be eligible for IBPS SO 2019 is as follows:

A candidate applying for IBPS SO Examination must accomplish one of the following:

  1. A citizen of India or
  2. A subject of Nepal and Bhutan
  3. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India for permanent settlement before 1st January 1962
  4. Person of Indian Origin who migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Zaire, Ethiopia, Malawi and Tanzania with the intension of permanent settlement in India.

Candidates belonging to the categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) from above shall be person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the government of India.

Age Criteria for Specialist Officer Exam is as follows:

Interested candidate must have age between 20 – 30 years and age relaxation is according to the government norms.

The IBPS has given certain age limit relaxation for various categories, which are as follows:

Ex-Serviceman, Commissioned Officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers, Short Service Commissioned Officers who have rendered atleast 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within one year from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalidment. 5 years

3. Rajbhasha Adhikari (Scale I) 20-30 Years Post Graduate Degree in Hindi with English as a subject at the degree (graduation) level OR Post graduate degree in Sanskrit with English and Hindi as subjects at the degree (graduation) level.
4. Law Officer (Scale I) 20-30 Years A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate for the Bar Council.
5. HR/Personnel Officer (Scale I) 20-30 Years Graduate and Regular Post Graduate degree or Regular Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management / Industrial Relations/ HR/HRD/ Social Work / Labour Law.
6. Marketing Officer (Scale I) 20-30 Years Graduate and Full-time MBA (Marketing) / Full time two years PGDBA/ PGDBM with specialization in Marketing.

IBPS SO Mains Result and Scorecard 2019-20 Declared

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Committee has released IBPS SO Exam 2019-20 Mains Result and Mains Scorecard on 5th February, 2020 and 12th February, 2020. The selected candidates who have given mains exam can check their mains result and scorecard from the official website. The main exam was conducted on 25th January 2020 and the students who have cleared mains exam will receive a call for interview.

The candidates can check their Mains Result and Scorecard through these mentioned steps:

  • Open the official website of IBPS or click on the link mentioned below.
  • Now click the link for IBPS SO Mains Result and Scorecard (in case, when you open official website).
  • Enter the login credentials like Registration Number/ Roll Number and DOB/Password.
  • Enter Captcha code and click on the Login button.
  • The result will be displayed on the screen. Take the Print out of your Mains Result and Scorecard.
