Specific degree subjects required
Usually, the following entry for the required candidate should be professionally trained. It is however required to register for ICSA foundation programs without formal qualifications.
Although, the candidate should graduate in all subjects those listed below may be preferred and may offer some exemptions from the professional examinations. A good honours degree is helpful.

A pre-entry postgraduate qualification is not a requirement for the eligible candidate. Although postgraduate study is not needed, professional qualifications are essential and may be undertaken in-service.
Trainees must complete a period of relevant time on-the-job supervised work experience and pass the four-part examination of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators (ICSA). The study for ICSA qualifications takes 4/5 years part-time during the course. Degree holders are exempt from the first two parts and get the profile for Company Secretary. Graduates with relevant degrees may be able to qualify more quickly and accordingly.

Certification procedure for CS Course
The Three categories Courses have the examination will be Conducted ICSI Council and the application form will be available throughout the year online by ICSI Web site. The Application form fee is Rs 200/- through cash payment. The students will have to enroll themselves with the ICSI for the information on the entrance exam etc.
NOTE: The Exam for the Foundation course is held in the months of December and June every year. The candidates have to register with the ICSI before 9 months earlier to the exam. The Foundation examination should be qualified within the time limit of 3 years from the period of admission.
CS Course Eligibility
The eligible criteria for the candidate of CS Foundation Program are one that should Be Cleared in (10 +2) or Equivalent for completion of the course.
Last date for online application submission for appearing in the CS Foundation Program examination
Ø The duration of examination must be of 31st March Appearing December in the same year. (with late fee of Rs. 250/- until 9th April).
Ø The next duration of the examination the same year will be 30th September for June next year (with a late fee of Rs. 250/- Until 10th October).
The Eligibility for CS Executive candidate can be pursued only after clearing the Foundation Program or any Graduation with any Background of Specialization for the degree of Company Secretary. The candidate should not be under the age of 17 for sitting in the exam.
The Important Dates for the CS Executive Exams update
¨ The examination will be on 28th February for appearing in both modules in December Exams in the same year.
¨ The examination will be held on 31st May for appearing in a single module in December Examination in the same year.
¨ On 31st August the candidate should be eligible for appearing in both modules in June Exam in the next year.
¨ On 30th November for appearing in a single module in June Examination in the next year.
The Eligibility for CS Professional Programme can be pursued only after clearing the Executive Programme of CS Course. The examination is conducted twice a year in June and December. The eligible candidate can give the examination with the above process followed under:

(CS) Exam 2019 Postponed Details
Institute of Companies Secretaries of India has postponed CS Exams scheduled on December 23rd and 24th, 2019
The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has postponed the examinations for Executive and Professional Programmes which were scheduled to be held on 23rd December and 24th December 2019. Earlier, the Institute also postponed the examination for CS Executive and Professional Programmes which were scheduled on 20th December and 21st December 2019.
However, the CS exams for both programmes which are scheduled from 26th December, 2019 will be held as per the schedule of ICSI. The subjects and corresponding modules for which the examinations have been postponed are explained in the official site.
CS Executive and Professional December 2019 Result Declared
The Institute of Companies Secretaries of India (ICSI) has announced the ICSI CS December Result 2019 for Executive and Professional Programmes on 25th February, 2020. The CS Executive December Exam 2019 for old syllabus as well as for new syllabus was conducted between 26th December and 3rd January 2020. The participating candidates who have given the exam can check their result from the official website www.icsi.edu by clicking on the URL link available. To check the result, candidates need to follow the given instructions:
