The interested candidates who are seeking their career in CTET Exam 2020 can apply for the released application on or before 24th February 2020. What is CTET?
CTET stands for Central Teaching Eligibility Test which is a national level examination conducted by CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education). The exam is been conducted twice a year, to shortlist all the candidates for the position of teachers from class 1 to class 8. There are two types of paper in the examination: Paper 1 and paper 2. Candidates who are planning to teach Class 1 to Class 5 need to appear for Paper 1 and the candidates who are planning for Class 6 to Class 8 need to take Paper 2. In order to teach from class 1 to class 8, the candidate needs to appear for both the papers.

Eligibility Criteria for Central Teaching Eligibility Test (CTET) July 2020
Candidates who want to apply for the given application of CTET jobs must fulfill the given eligibility criteria to be qualified for recruitment process. Candidates who do not meet the eligibility criteria will be rejected from the recruitment process. CTET Selection Process (Step by Step)
- Application Form: This is the first step of the process where the candidates need to fill the CTET 2020 Application form available in the online mode of the examination’s official website. Candidates belonging to General or OBC category need to pay Rs. 1000 (for one paper) and fee of Rs. 1200 (for two papers). On the other hand, candidates who belong to SC/ST/Diff. Abled need to pay Rs. 500 for one paper and Rs. 600 for both papers.
- Admit Card: All the candidates can download their admit card for CTET 2020 exam from the official website of the Examination. All the details of the student is been mentioned on the admit card. The examination or the test centre is also mentioned along with the reporting time of the test.
- Examination: The date of examination for one and both paper is 05-07-2020. Aspirant need to report at the examination centre before 90 minutes of examination’s commencement. The examination has duration of two and half hours (150 minutes). Candidates aspiring for teaching class 1 to 5 (Primary) need to give Paper 1 and who are aspire to teach class 6 to 8 (elementary) are required to appear for Paper 2.
- Result: CBSE announces the result of CTET exam on its official website. All those candidates who qualify for the CTET examination gets CTET eligibility certificate. The time limit of CTET is of seven years from the declaration date of the result.

How to Fill CTET Exam 2020 Application Form Online?
- Open the official website by clicking on the link available.
- Now, click on “Apply for CTET 2020” option and write all the mandatory details on the required field of the form, according to 10the level certificate.
- Select exam centres, language and paper option.
- Upload the photograph and signature in jpeg format.
- Pay the application fee through e-Challan or Online mode.
- Review all the filled details and click on Submit button.
- Take the print out of the submitted application form for further reference.
CTET Examination 2020 Admit Card
The Central Board of Secondary Education will release the Admit Cards or Hall Tickets in the month of June. The hall tickets of the selected candidates will be uploaded online on the official website. All the participating candidates are advised to collect CTET Admit Card 2020 to attend the exam for sitting in the examination hall, otherwise aspirants will not be allowed to take entry in the examination hall without the proper admit card.
Along with the Admit cards, candidates must carry one valid ID proof (Voter ID, Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport or PAN Card in original as well as photocopy. The Admit Card contains candidate details like Roll Number, Name, Father’s Name, Category, Sub-Category, Date of Birth, Photograph, Signature, and Address of examination centre allotted. All the eligible candidates will be informed about the release of Admit card for CTET exam 2020 by e-mail or SMS to download it from website.
Candidates need to report at Examination Centre 90 minutes before the starting of the exam. The candidate who reports the examination centre after 9:30 AM will not be allowed to take entry in Paper-I and the candidate who report after 2:00 PM will not be allowed to take entry in Paper- II.
CTET 2020 Result
The Results for CTET 2020 would be declared on the official website of the examination. The marks secured by the candidate is been listed along with the qualifying status of the exam. The CTET scorecard includes the overall marks which are scored by the student as well as the marks secured by them in each subject of the examination.
Last year, nearly 30 lakhs candidates applied for CTET 2019 out of which approximately 23 Lacs appeared for the exam. A total of 3.52 Lacs Candidates were able to qualify CTET 2019.
