UPTET 2019 notification has been released on 31st October 2019 by Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board in its official website http://updeled.gov.in/.  UPTET exam is an Uttar Pradesh State-Level Eligibility Test which is conducted to recruit the Primary School Teachers and Upper Primary Level Teachers. Candidates preparing for the UPTET 2019 exam can check UPTET notification, exam date, and syllabus and exam pattern here.

Candidates vying to appear in both the primary and upper primary level exams of Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) will no longer have to fill two separate forms. Till last year, candidates were required to fill two different forms for both the level of exams.

Uttar Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test (UPTET) – 2019

The UPTET will be conducted on December 22, 2019 in two shifts. The first shift of exam will be conducted between 10 to 12:30 pm while the second shift will be conducted between 2:30 to 5 pm. Eligibility Criteria for UPTET Exam 2019

Candidates applying for UPTET exam 2019 must go through the listed eligibility criteria to be eligible to sit in the exams.

Educational Qualification

Primary Teacher (1st to 5th Classes)
Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary class with at least 50% marks or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary class with at least 50% marks or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary class with minimum 50% marks or appearing in the final year of 4 Years Bachelor of Elementary Education

Applicants must have passed the Senior Secondary class with at least 50% marks or appearing in the final year of 2 years Diploma in Special Education

Upper Primary Teacher (6th to 8th Classes)

Age Limit

To apply for UPTET 2019 exam, you need to have minimum age of 18 years. There is no maximum age limit for UPTET exam.

UPTET Selection Process for Different Categories

In the UPTET 2019 exam, the general candidates need to obtain 90 Marks out of 150 while the reserved category candidates are required to obtain 82 marks out of 150 marks.

UPTET Result 2019-20 Declared

The Exam Regularity Authority has declared UPTET Result 2019 on 7th February, 2020 at 4:30 PM. Guidelines for Candidates appearing in UPTET Exam:

Here are some important guidelines for the candidates, which must be keeping in mind on the day of UPTET exam:

  • Candidates must carry atleast two ball-point pens in Blue and Black color and a pencil.
  • Candidates must keep in mind to carry UPTET Exam Admit Card to the test centre.
  • Along with the Admit Card, candidates are also advised to carry two passport size photographs and a photo ID proof that may be one of them – PAN Card/ Driving License/ Passport/ Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Ration Card to the centre.

It is advised to not to carry any electronic gadget (calculator, digital watch, mobile phones) and study material inside the examination hall.
